These Terms & Conditions apply to use of this website and to work approved, scheduled, or authorized with Med City Handyman LLC. By using this website, requesting a quote, approving a quote, scheduling work, or authorizing work to begin, you agree to these terms.
1. Website Use
This website is provided for general informational purposes only. Website content, examples, pricing references, service descriptions, and availability are not a binding agreement to perform work. No service agreement is created unless work is approved, scheduled, or confirmed in writing by Med City Handyman LLC.
2. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, text, graphics, logos, photos, service descriptions, and other materials are owned by Med City Handyman LLC or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use these materials without written permission.
3. Website Accuracy and External Links
We strive to keep website information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all information is complete, error-free, or up to date. We are not responsible for damages arising from use of this website. This website may contain links to third-party websites, and we are not responsible for the content, accuracy, security, or policies of those third-party sites.
4. Scope of Work
Work is limited to the items listed and approved. Additional work, changes in scope, hidden conditions, inaccessible areas, damaged existing materials, customer-supplied materials, or conditions different from what was described may require a revised quote or separate approval before work continues.
5. Access and Work Area
Customer is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the work area, including parking, entry, pets, gates, utilities, and any other access needed to complete the approved work. Customer is responsible for removing fragile, valuable, or personal items from the immediate work area before work begins.
6. Existing Conditions
Med City Handyman LLC is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden damage, defects in existing structures or systems, prior improper installation, weakened materials, moisture issues, pest activity, movement or settling, or conditions outside the approved scope of work. Matching existing paint, texture, stain, finish, materials, or appearance is not guaranteed unless specifically included in the approved scope.
7. Customer-Supplied Materials
Customer-supplied products or materials are not warranted by Med City Handyman LLC for product quality, fit, finish, completeness, durability, or manufacturer defects. Additional labor or return visits caused by missing, defective, incompatible, or incomplete customer-supplied materials may be quoted separately.
8. Safety and Trade Limitations
Med City Handyman LLC may decline or stop work that appears unsafe, outside the approved scope, outside our service limitations, or better suited for a licensed specialty contractor. This may include work involving concealed systems, active pests, roof or high-ladder access, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, structural concerns, permits, or other specialty trade work.
9. Warranty
Med City Handyman LLC provides the statutory warranties required by Minnesota law for applicable residential home improvement work. For standard handyman repairs, this generally includes a one-year warranty from completion against defects caused by faulty workmanship or defective materials due to noncompliance with applicable building standards.
Warranty coverage does not apply to pre-existing conditions, defects in existing structures or systems not caused by our work, normal wear and tear, misuse, lack of maintenance, moisture issues, pest or insect activity, movement or settling, customer-supplied products or materials, work performed or altered by others, or conditions outside the approved scope of work. Warranty concerns must be reported in writing within the time required by Minnesota law.
10. Photos and Documentation
Photos may be taken for documentation, quality control, before-and-after records, project communication, warranty review, and business records.
Med City Handyman LLC may use non-identifying before-and-after photos of completed work for portfolio, educational, website, social media, advertising, or other marketing purposes. We will not intentionally display customer names, addresses, faces, minors, license plates, or other personally identifying details without separate permission. Customers may request that project photos not be used for marketing by notifying us in writing.
11. Payment
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise stated in writing. Final invoices may reflect approved changes, additional work, customer-authorized adjustments, taxes, fees, or other approved charges.
12. Changes to These Terms
Med City Handyman LLC may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
